I am a hobby keeper and make no claims as to the "perfection" of my line. The colony was started with quality Fire Red genetics, but I have not culled the tank to maintain standards. These are beautiful red shrimp that can add interest to most any freshwater aquarium. I offer them as mixed-grade quality, but most would qualify as Fire Red, with full bright color in body and legs. HOME TANK RAISED!!! These are US home bred and raised... trust me... it makes all the difference. So many have had bad experiences attempting to start a shrimp colony and blame it on themselves and lack of experience. Sometimes this is true... sometimes it is the imported shrimp. Imports simply DO NOT adjust well to US water systems in most cases. It took me two years to get this colony started with imported genetics before I finally got them to breed consistently. You are buying well adjusted shrimp... acclimated to conditions found in most US water supplies. These shrimp are MULTIPLE generations away from their imported genetics now. Your order will ship USPS, with an arrive alive guarantee. Please use the tracking number you receive to plan for their arrival. Delivery is the time the shrimp are most vulnerable, they have just been on a long trip, and if left in direct sunlight or otherwise adverse conditions, they will start experiencing losses.
