If you don't, you probably should stop reading. I believe this is a smart investment. If I were 10 years younger, I would probably buy it myself. For real. If you think the current prices of early Pokemon are high, you are WRONG. I firmly believe we are at the BEGINNING of the rise in Pokemon values. It is a big world out there. And the vast majority of people on Earth over the age of 10--about 97% of them--have NEVER bought a single Pokemon card. For real. THAT MEANS THE MARKET FOR POKEMON WORLDWIDE IS JUST BEGINNING. Just wait three or five more years! Actually, don't wait. You know, they teach students in business schools all over the world to "buy low and sell high." WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. Nearly 100% wrong nearly 100% of the time. They should be teaching people to "buy high and sell higher." EVERYTIME I HAVE BOUGHT A SO-CALLED "BARGAIN"--and I have been in business more than 39 years--I HAVE REGRETTED IT. No exceptions. This is true in ANY market. All are long crimp packs, which means they are probably 5 to 20 times rarer than short crimp packs. It also means that because more plastic is used to make a long crimp pack, you probably have to subtract about .20 grams from the stated weight on my scale. That means the LIGHTEST pack is still around 21.20 grams--STILL VERY HEAVY. (Packs that weigh 21.00 grams or more are reliably termed heavy, which means they are extremely likely to have a hologram card inside.) The LIGHTEST OF THESE LONG CRIMP PACKS (see photos front and back) WEIGHS 21.41 GRAMS. Folks, that's HEAVY, and that is the lightest pack! I ESTIMATE THE CHANCES OF YOU GETTING A HOLO IN EACH PACK AT GREATER THAN 98%! (However, a smart investor would never open these packs. The weight ain't going down in the future.) I only give 100% guarantees to two things: 1) We are all going to die (what a bummer!) and 2) The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
