5-Lot VTG Pocket Library Great Art Classic Painting El Greco Botticelli Pissarro

Description: This vintage 5-lot Pocket Library of Great Art books features classical paintings by El Greco, Botticelli, Rouault, Pissarro, and Velazquez. The softcover paperbacks were published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc. in association with Pocket Books, Inc. in the United States in 1953 and 1954. The photos show the books in series order as indicated on the spine: El Greco A2; Botticelli A9; Rouault A14; Pissarro A18; and Velazquez A19. The books contain black & white and color photographs, and foldout color plates. All show signs of wear but are in good condition for 70+ year-old pre-owned paperbacks. However, make note of the following: every book has the original owner's name written on the first (blank) page, otherwise, the pages are unmarked (see pics); the cover has come unglued from the binding of the Botticelli book but could easily be reglued (see pic); the glue on the binding of the Velazquez book is starting to deteriorate (see pic); an old magazine article has stained the first page in the El Greco book (see pic); the El Greco, Rouault and Pissarro books all have good, tight bindings.
