This Sacred Heart cross was originally created by Maison De Jean, a designer working for a religious charms and souvenirs manufacturer founded in about 1910 and operating under the name Creed Company until 1931 when the name changed to Creed Rosary Inc. In the 1970s it changed again to The Creed Rosary Company, of North Attleboro, MA. It is very hard to date your piece, though my guess is that it's 1960s/1970s. Because it is molded from an original casting that could well have been created as early as the 1920s, it could be any age between the 1920s and the 1970s. The same molds have been used by Creed Rosary all along and long after the demise of Maison de Jean.
