Description: This is a set of four dinner plates from Iron Mountain Stoneware. The pattern is called Roan Mountain, produced by hand-dipping the plates in various glazes so that each plate is unique. They measure 11" in diameter. In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks of other signs of damage. Iron Mountain workers made the hand-formed plates, and glazed them according the designs of company founder, Nancy Patterson Lamb. She was one of the first to make and market handcrafted stoneware dinnerware.
