It is an ideal solution for most residential, light commercial, and light industrial water systems. We also offer vertical 3/4” water meters, hot water meters, and up to 2.0” water meters. • This is a well made, industrial grade, type 201 stainless steel water meter. You can use it as a traditional water meter where water consumption is read off of the face of the meter. • Why Stainless Steel? Many states are phasing out the use of leaded brass in potable water systems. Stainless steel is a superior alternative to either brass or plastic, with many advantages at no increase in cost. Stainless will not react when paired with dissimilar metals, so no dielectric unions are necessary. We are one of the only suppliers of stainless steel water meters in the USA. • This water meter can be read off of the face like a typical water meter, and also has the option of being able to connect the included pulse output wires to a pulse counting device for remote reading. • This meter produces a dry-contact pulse for every 1/10 cubic foot of water (approx. 0.75 gallon, or 2.83 liters) that flows by the meter, these pulses can be then picked up and counted by our pulse counting devices. • This pulse output water meter can be connected to our Omnimeter Pulse v.4. This is our most advanced pulse counting electric meter. This pulse counting meter can count the pulse outputs from up to 3 Pulse Output Devices. (See images) We offer a simple 8 digit LCD battery powered pulse counters on our website. • The pulse counting Omnimeter Pulse v.4 can then be connected to a computer either locally or over the internet. Our EKM Push3 system provides a cloud based solution for monitoring your water meters via the Omnimeter Pulse v.4.
