3 Cathrineholm of Norway Enamelware Bowls, Lotus by Grete P. Kittelsen, VG/READ

Description: Up for grabs is a set of three (3) Cathrineholm of Norway enamelware bowls in the lotus pattern by Grete Prytz Kittelsen. These bowls are both charming and functional. The teal and white colors still shine bright, and the lotus pattern typifies a classic mid-century modern aesthetic. The durable enamel material ensures these will last for a lifetime to come. The set is perfect for serving soups, salads, or snacks. The classic Scandinavian design makes these bowls a unique and stylish choice. The bowl diameters measure 8", 7", and 5.5". Overall, they are in very good (VG) condition. All three bowls show light wear, marks, and aging. They are pictured in descending order. All three items show light wear/marks on the bottoms and rims. The largest shows the most wear of the three. There is flea bite chipping in areas along the rim with two slightly larger, more noticeable chips, but they are still very small (~1 mm). The largest also shows very light yellowing/aging on the white, near the base. This can be seen clearly in the last two photos. The other photos near the end show examples of both the small and large chips. The medium and small bowls don't show any glaring blemishes. There's a few small marks here and there, but they are very minimal. It is a very handsome set overall. The largest bowl measures 3.25" H x 8" D. The medium-sized bowl measures 3" H x 7" D.
