Description: This listing is for 25 (or many more! ) home raised Ramshorn snails. Snails will be a mix of red, gray and leopard (golden brown, spotted). Sizes will be young to adult. No babies. These peaceful, quirky creatures were raised in our home aquariums and enjoy eating a variety of foods including decaying plant matter, algae and leftover fish food. They also make excellent pea puffer, gourami and crayfish food! These snails are very resilient and adapt to a wide variety of water temperatures and ph levels. They are very peaceful and keep to themselves. ------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We do not ship snails to ME. CONTROLLING ICE PACKS/HEAT PACKS will be used when needed. Please check your USPS tracking number and sign up for postal alerts via USPS, so your snails get to you safely. You can also have your post office hold the package so they do not sit in your mailbox or get overheated if delivered outdoors when you're not home. PLEASE NOTE, during the shipping process, ramshorn snails will retreat deep into their shells as a self-protection mechanism. When you receive your snails, their shells may appear empty and they may even float to the top of the water.
