Measurements are in inches unless otherwise stated: #24-110, Edwardian Black Silk Dinner Gown with Black & Gold Lace Accents - 1910 - Haunted House: This dress was created out of black silk, cotton lace and gold metallic lace. It has a lot of issues. I think it would be good for a mannequin for a Halloween Party or an outrageous costume. It has a bust of 40 inches, a waist of 33.5 inches, a front skirt length from waist to hem of 41 inches and a shoulder length of 14 inches across. The lace on the body has large holes and the drape is torn in many places. It is missing the tassels from one sleeve and there is some splitting to the inner silk and tulle. It does have most of its hooks and eyes and snaps but not all. I think there was once more lace on the skirt. If you want to wear this as a costume you will need a black body suit under it. I have a friend that always wears antique damaged clothing as part of her Halloween costume but it does tend to fall apart as she wears it. Every year I sell groups of antique black damaged clothing to window designers for Halloween windows. This year I thought I would share some on eBay with my eBay customers. The dress has some old trunk odor. I have aired it out some.
