This FSR (Factory Special Run) model features a Dakota Red gloss finish with matching peghead, accented by a mint green pickguard. This limited edition Fender is a new instrument only intended for sale to a Japanese domestic audience and select international markets, produced for a single dealer and sourced direct from Tokyo. A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jazzmaster platform, the new Traditional II 60s model features redesigned Vintage-Style pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastic parts. The instrument has plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two single coil pickups. And engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds.
