As you can see, this is a dignified piece with a SUPERHEAVYRELIC finish!This one is based on a 1961 Stratocaster that used a rosewood fingerboard!We use an alder body carefully selected for Fender CustomShop products by our wood selection specialist staff. Like the body, the neck material is made of quarterson (straight grain) 1-piece maple. The fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and the slab rosewood fingerboard uses jumbo size frets.The body and neck finish are all lacquered like vintage. Unique to the Super Heavy Relic finish, many layers of paint have been violently peeled off. The back of the neck is largely peeled off around the 1st and 12th floors, and the wood texture gives it a smooth playing feel. The finish has a dignified amber look with discolored clear coat. It is an amazing finish that shows even the deterioration due to discoloration.The neck grip is slim in the low position and gets fatter towards the high position with a 60 OvalC shape finish.
