THESE ARE MY BIGGEST HYACINTH (12"-15")!! They may have some yellowing or spots, imperfect leaves, but this is normal, due to heat & water conditions. They are still very much a beautiful green & healthy as you can see with huge roots. If exposed to direct sun and your weather remains warm, you will see purple flowers on them. Mine are mostly kept in partial shade so they remain green with no flowers. ** The 2nd & 3rd pictures are the most accurate shipping size. ** ** PLEASE READ all information below before purchasing. ** The water hyacinth will naturally be packaged with traces of duckweed (light to heavy) on it as they grow together in the pond. Frilly Parrots Feather shown is sold in another listing. So is the water lettuce which customers love! :). Both plants are great oxygenators & free floaters! The water hyacinth will die off once temperatures get much cooler. The duckweed is likely to grow dormant & overwinter in your water source providing for the years ahead. They create a lovely green, sometimes magical coverage on the top of your pond that counteracts algae blooms and shields your fish from predators while providing food and nutrition to your fish and pond life. ** These plants are considered an invasive plant due to their rapid growth. They are illegal in certain states and can be hard to get rid of once put into an aquatic environment.
