This is an accessory or set of parts to be used in combination with other items sold separately or that you build yourself. This is the new square-post version of this product. A float on a round post can turn unless that post is gripped really, really tight. Now with these square post floats, the clamp can be effortless because it only locks the up/down adjustment. Holding the floats straight is done automatically just by virtue of the fact that the post and the clamp are square! Benefits: Automatic, perfect parallel alignment. No chance the floats will turn while you are speeding along. Easier operation of the clamp -- no lever lock that requires two hands. Two fingers can operate the knob clamp on the square post.No need to re-align floats when you change their vertical position. They ALWAYS point straight ahead even when the clamp is loose! What's included: Two floats (approx 38 inches x 7 inches) and two arms (approximately 28 inches long x 1 inch x 1 inch). The floats include a round posts and we supply square posts that fit over them. The arms include a clamp that locks the vertical adjustment of float height. On the opposite end of each arm from the clamp is a spring button, to lock the arm into position when you slide it into the product you are using the floats and arms with. There will be two shipments, probably arriving on different days: (1) two pontoons with round posts (2) a pair of square-post converters, plus a pair of arms that fit the square posts, each with single-knob clamp.
