Description: Antique 1800's Primitive Hand Carved Wood Butter Paddles, 9 1/2" Barn Find + 8 3/4" Clean & Less Used Two nice butter paddles that I've displayed together for years. One is in near perfect condition, with a slightly triangular shaped paddle head. The older of the two shows the heavier use wear, edge chipping, and general discoloration that comes with heavier barn use. One was Mom's butter paddle, kept in the kitchen and cleaned carefully after use; the other was kept by Dad in the barn and probably used for scooping dry grain or corn. A nice contrast for a display of old butter making primitives. The older piece is about 9 1/2" long and 5 1/4" wide at the front edge, with a carved hook on the end of the handle. The smaller paddle is 8 3/4" long and about 5" wide at the edge, also with a hook carved in the end of the handle. Please note: NO international shipping at this time. I wrap and pack carefully, using sturdy cardboard boxes, and plenty of bubble wrap and shipping peanuts to insure safe arrival of your items. Shipping is via USPS, either Ground Advantage or Priority, as the buyer prefers. Please email me at eBay with any questions about the items. Thanks for your Interest!
