Description: This set of Russian "Figure Eight " Necklace, bracelet and earrings is part of the “CLEO” collection produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1992. Drawing from old Russian jewelry of the 19th century which was characterized by refinement of design, balanced composition, and classic severity of line. Stamped in brass, electroplated in 24 karat Gold, and assembled by hand. The necklace is 30" long, and approximately 1/2" wide. It has no clasp, simply slips over your head.The bracelet is 7.5" long and has a snap clasp.The earrings are 7/8" long and are clip-ons. All three pieces are marked "1992 MMA CLEO" All three pieces are in beautiful unworn condition with the original box from the museum. There is an information card for the necklace with the history of the jewelry.
