1992 IBANEZ EX SERIES (EX370FM) Electric Guitar

Description: 1992 IBANEZ EX SERIES (EX370FM) Electric Guitar - Rare Early 1992 Ibanez (with the neck plate) EX Series EX370FM. Good overall condition with only a couple of light dings around the edge. In total, it's pretty good shape for being 30 years old! There are a couple of light spider cracks in the finish on the back of the neck leading to one of the locking nuts, BUT they have been there for years and don't seem to be anything more than cosmetic. Guitar has been closeted for few years, so some of the controls are noisy, BUT do function...I suggest a little deoxit. Looking at the current position of the saddles, the guitar will need a proper set up. The EX370FM has a solid wood body with a flame maple top bolted to a one-piece maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with triangle position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking a single coil, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The humbuckers are mounted with pickup rings. The EX370FM has gold-tone hardware. For the US market, the EX370FM's body is basswood; European EX370FMs are made of alder. Early-1992 EX370FMs featured a traditional neck joint with a metal plate. Starting in mid-1992 it has the sculpted All-access neck joint which does away with the metal plate. As with any guitar sold online...I suggest you allow a day or two upon arrival (to allow the wood to acclimate to its new humidity and temperature) before you do a proper set-up to your strings of choice. #4855
