The sax arrived with all original pads, so I sent it off to Eric Beach for a full mechanical overhaul. Eric's work is top notch, and the sax feels as good or better than brand new. Eric does extensive key fitting, so there is essentially zero extra movement between the keys. This gives the sax a tight, efficient feel. Eric used Pisoni Pro pads and plastic resonators, which is what this horn originally came with. He performed some dentwork mainly around the bow to take out a few small dings. The neck is original and has never been bent down. The case is original, although the zipper teeth have separated near the end. One pull still works when manually inserted onto the teeth. This is an incredible playing Mark VI. The horn plays effortlessly in all registers and won't need any pad work for years. It has great projection when you want to push it, but it also feels very stable in low dynamics. US buyers are free to return the sax for any reason, provided you pay shipping and insurance both ways. The sax must be returned in its original condition.
