1987 IGMA Fellow Mary Grady O'Brien Dollhouse Miniature Cat Painting

Description: Sometimes prices go down, but never until we have a fair amount of watchers, so please watch if interested but not ready to buy.NOTE- My camera has a very round lens which makes long straight lines seem to curve, especially on frames & furniture but it's just the camera, so just know the lines of this are straight.___________________________________________________ ITEM- 1987 IGMA Fellow Mary Grady O'Brien Dollhouse Miniature Cat Painting. DESCRIPTION- This wonderful painting was, as I understood, commissioned to Mary by a miniature collector, the late John Guy of Dallas, Texas who had a collection of cat related items & was a long-time friend of IGMA Fellow Mary Grady O'Brien. I bought several pieces from his collection & still have a blanket chest painted heavily in cats. The backing is an interesting blue marbled paper that looks to be from an antique book frontispiece. I believe this is a one-of-a-kind painting that was not reproduced, but regardless it is a great piece for cat lover or those who collect Mary's work. Buy it now or regret it later.
