This truck is only in average condition.The truck has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam.It is 100% complete and 100% original, including the original box that is in poor condition (but the directions on it are still very readable). This item was still in production with very few changes in 50 years until very recently. The main thing to report is a cosmetic flaw :There was some damage around the boiler connection for the pressure relief valve. The female connection was re-soldered and this was done correctly.The denting that followed the mishap remains quite obvious and the poor attempt at paint touching didn't help much.The repair is sturdy if not aesthetic. Many photos... So, genuinely average condition but if you can live with the few scars and a bit of cleanup, this is still quite a fun steam truck. You will need some solid fuel pellets (anywhere camping supplies are sold) and distilled water is strongly recommended. Please note that, if an item has been air tested, it might need a bit of work to operate on steam. Often the older gaskets have dried up and leak a bit.
