One night only, February 11, 2019 in NY, tickets sold out immediately but we have a delightful piece of original memorabilia featured here for those who cannot attend. Sale supports the "Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids" charity. This listing features a small mini poster postcard measuring 6-3/4" x 5", designed and signed by artist Gacci in 1979. Very unusual story; as shown in part of a 1979 article, Gacci specialized in portraits of Broadway shoes, and this is a design from the Broadway production of "They're Playing Our Song." Signed on back by Lucie Arnaz. Gacci would attend a Broadway performace from a choice seat, and study their feet up close. During the show she'd make brief sketches of shoes which intrigued her, and then would go backstage and connect with the performers before proceeding with her final sketch. In this case it was Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein's shoes, seated at their signature piano. CHARMING and in new condition, unusual keepsake! Her sketches have their own unique following, and she covered over 40 shoes of the era.
