All buttons press nicely and are responsive. All sounds are loud and clear! Battery compartment is clean but shows its age, I suspect at one time a battery was left in too long. Foam pad/cushion is disintegrated and adhesive residue remains. As described in the title, this box is rough. Box bottom has all 4 corners torn or separated s glue has come undone for the paper binders. You can zoom in to see apparent water damage and discoloration of the lid “flap.” The box top has scraped corners, edges, fading colors, you name it! But is largely in tact and I would keep this in my collection. All cards are complete and show normal play wear, one of the Wanted cards has a blue stain on it. Player pieces are in excellent condition! I am pricing this set at the “I don’t want to sell it price until my family has a chance to play it.” Again, the box is rough, there are flaws, but the “Electronic Crime Scanner” works great!
