Description: Great ticket stub from the 1979 season when the Tigers hired Sparky Anderson to replace Les Moss as Detroit Tigers Manager. The stub has seat #1 which was Sparky's jersey number. This was Sparky's first game on June 14, as a Tiger and his 5-year plan was to win a World Series- which he did. Some interesting things - apparently these were "very good seats" according to the back of the ticket stub LOL. Actually front row. The Sparky hiring happened so fast that the team didn't have time to update the program - see the photo of Les Moss as the current manager. Also a pic of Lance Parrish with a Fu-Manchu, LOL - I don't remember that. Shipped very well protected via USPS mail.
