Item(s) for auction/sale:1978 O-PEE-CHEE baseball lot of 14 Hall of Famers (one duplicate) Condition: These cards are all super high grade. They all look like they just came out of unopened packs. Some are very well centered and very gradeable at PSA or other grading companies. I will point out not so obvious flaws, other than centering since that is self evident from the images. (2) #210 Carlton Fisk cards - both are at least MINT CONDITION! VERY GRADEABLE! The front and back sides of both are completely clean of wax stains, gum stains, scratches, bends, creasing, corner and edge dents, decent OPC cuts on corners and edges. Totally worth getting graded for PSA 9's, maybe even a PSA 10. #105 Nolan Ryan - This card has a blatant gum stain fade mark on the back side. Other than that, MINT CONDITION straight up. Clean front and back other than gum stain on back. You might be able to get this graded at PSA for a PSA 9 MINT (ST) qualifier for stain. #154 Eddie Murray Rookie Card - clean front and back, no flaws except centering. Possible PSA 8 NM-MT? #225 Mike Schmidt - well centered and clean front and back. PSA isn't to rough, unlike Beckett grading, on rough OPC cuts. It's got a rough cut on the edges and the corners somewhat. Real nice high grade card for a collector looking to build a raw set in Ultra Pro pages in a D-slant binder. #120 Tom Seaver - Straight up mint condition. Clean front and back. Very well centered both sides. #170 Steve Carlton - Decent centering and cut not all that rough. There are two small line like 1/8" real light wax stains on the front near his neck area, the back is clean. #179 Jim Palmer - Close to perfect centering front and back. That top-bottom centering on the front throws it off a little. Clean front and back. Real nice high grade card and not too much rough cutting on edges and corners. #185 Willie McCovery - high grade, clean front and back. #50 Johnny Bench - clean front and back, off center and would be higher grade if not for one flared corner on the back (see image of reverse side, it's easy to see it. Flaring doesn't carry on to the front side.) #160 Joe Morgan - clean front and back, high grade but off center. #135 Gary Carter - high grade, clean front and back, off center though. #200 Thurman Munson - high grade, clean front and back but off center #110 Reggie Jackson - off center and there are two line-like light bumps on the surface on the middle part of the fronts right edge area. Looks high gradish flaws aside. This lot is perfect for someone looking to build a raw high grade 1978 O-PEE-CHEE baseball set.
