There are differences, namely the 1968 has a red lens, whereas this one is white. If your lens is good but your lamp is crusty, contact me for a lens-less lamp.Also, the wiring pigtail is different, but I left the connector and some wire to easily hook up the juice. Last, also probably least, in 1968 GM painted the top of the interior of the lamp white for some reason {I can't think of anything more reflective than the chrome plating}.Item in photos is the actual item you will receive, so take your time to zoom in & check the quality for yourself.
