Description: Up for sale is a 1973 silver art deco zippo lighter. The lighter is in decent condition and shows signs of use. The lid is slightly loose but still opens and closes well. The insert is tough to get out of the lighter; I have had to use a set of pliers and a towel (to not scratch the insert) to get it out. The insert has been gutted and does not have a wick, cotton, the bottom felt pad, or the screw that holds in the flint. With these parts the lighter should work, but as it stands it will not light; it being sold as-is for parts or repair. A new insert would probably be the easiest way to go to get the lighter functioning, which Zippo can do through their warranty program (however this will require shipping the lighter off).
