Description: Up For sale is this Killer 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Quick Details Year 1972 Color Heritage Sunburst Weight 9.96lbs Nut Width 1.70” Depth at 1st Fret 0.80” Depth at 12th Fret 1.00” Case Original Hardshell missing one latch Serial #181515 Description Up For sale is this Killer 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom. This Custom has had a lot changed on it. The hardware has all been Changed to Chrome. The thumb bleeders are still gold though. The tuners are Grover units. The pickups are Gibson unit's and appear to be PAF sticker pickups. I believe the neck pickup is original to the guitar but the bridge pickup may not be. The Pot's and caps have also been upgraded as pictured. The body is in pretty good shape with just a few small imperfections. There is a ding over the toggle switch. Also there is a clear coat crack in the finish that goes from above the bridge pickup back to the strap button on the face of the guitar. It is hard to picture and is cosmetic not structural. The neck is a very comfortable Norlin era profile and is very straight. The frets are also the low flat style of the 70's Gibson's. Every note rings loud and clear. Will be shipped in a period correct Gibson Chainsaw case. The case is missing the latch by the neck but secures the guitar fine.
