Description: 1971-D Kennedy Half Dollar. Copper nickel clad composition NOT SILVER. This coin features anice doubled die obverse with the doubling being most noticeable on the words "IN" "TRUST" And on "LIBERTY." I tried to verify which doubled die obverse this is using variety Vista and in my eyes it looks very similar to the ddo-006 which is also crossed referenced as the fs-102 in the cherrypickers guide. However I was unable to be 100 percent sure if it was it or not just because I wasn't able to locate any significant die markers. The doubling on the fs-102 is most notable as a quadrupled letter "I" in the word "In" and you can see this coins similarity to the fs-102 by looking at the "i" in the word in and also looking at the "T" in liberty.
