Aldo Caputo, 21, left, of Cleveland, Ohio, a Vietnam war veteran who allegedly fired a shot aboard a Pan American World Airways 747 airliner over the Atlantic June 9, is shown during his trial in Rome Tuesday. The Italian-born Caputo is charged with possession of military arms and ammunition and with introducing them into Italy. He allegedly fired a shot through the interior wall of a toilet of the jumbo jet during a flight from New York to Rome and was arrested when the plane landed at Rome's Fiumicino Airport.Photo measures 8 x 10inches.
