1968 Corvette original AM FM stereo radio. with original 68 only knobs & spacers

Description: I shined a light at the stereo indicator and was unable to see whether STEREO was in block or script. Thanks. Roy. I removed this radio from a 68 corvette that I was drag racing in the 1970s. I do not recall if it was working at that time. It has been stored on a shelf unprotected in one of my shops since that time and will almost certainly need serviced now. It switches from AM to FM. The buttons work and the needle moves as it should. The dial works as it should when the AM FM slide is moved. the on off switch works as it should. The small convector is probably not original to this radio as 1 of the wire colors is different. I had the radio and stereo amplifier lightly cleaned with a scotchbrite pad. The 2 outer plates on the radio were removed, beadblasted and painted and reinstalled. Both speaker pig tails have been cut and the plug ins are missing. Look closely at the pictures to better determine condition. Look closely at the pictures to be sure this part is correct for your application and to better determine condition.
