1966 Ford Bronco

Description: Vehicle Details Up for sale is a very special early 1966 Ford Bronco. This Bronco was sold to Dr. Norman Topping by his friend Henry Ford II in late 1965 and delivered on December 31, 1965, to William O McKay Ford in Seattle Washington. Dr. Norman Topping (He was the president of USC University of Southern California at that time) he was playing golf with Henry Ford in Los Angeles in 1965. Norm was telling Henry that he was going to have to buy a Jeep to get around the summer place he had purchased in Wash State. Henry Ford said he was coming out with just the vehicle for him. It was called a Bronco and was much better than a Jeep. He would have one sent up to him, The Bronco was sent to William O McKay Ford in Seattle. The Bronco was picked up by Norm, who drove it home and thought it was really noisy, so he called Henry and told him. William McKay Ford came to the beach with a truck and picked it up. They took it to Seattle where they undercoated every nut, bolt and the whole under underside of the Bronco, it didnt help much but that is why there is undercoating everywhere. Dr. Topping sold the Bronco to his Nease, Marna Storhoff in 1986. It had 27,000 miles on it at that time The letter from Marna Storhoff explaining how Dr Topping got the Bronco from Henry Ford comes with the Bronco as dose the original window stickers, Brosher, owners manual and other original paperwork, all in a binder. This Bronco was an early build with the vacuum windshield wipers, very rare front bumper winch with PTO take off, Free running front hubs, Cigar lighter, Fresh air heater, Rear seat and in Rangoon Red paint. It also came with a radio, but the radio was replaced with newer radio, but the original radio dose come with the Bronco. It has had a newer repaint and it was done very nicely. The body is very nice as is the interior with its silver seats as original. The under coating is still covering many nuts, bolts and the whole underside of the Bronco. It starts easy, runs strong and drives like an old Bronco did. Everything works as it should, all glass is good, and windows roll up and down nicely. The original jack and tools are in place as they came from the factory. (Please look at all pictures closely) Im listing this beautiful early and special Bronco for my friend and third owner. I will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs, We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can.
