Description: For sale we have a vintage Miny Transistor Reel to Reel Tape Recorder / Player.Model 404. Made in Japan in 1964 i think . Measures about 8x8 inches.Runs on 3c and 1 9v Batteries. Not included Comes with a working Microphone. The player can be turned on and off with the switch on the side.2 extra tapes. And what i think is its original box. There are no markings on the box so i can't prove that.Its original instructions. Visual Condition: Near Mint . This player is really in nice shape. It take a lot for me to call something Near Mint but this fits the bill. Gray in color. Working Condition: The Player works great ( Please See video.) I did notice once or twice that it bogged down at first but as i checked the batteries i noticed that because the batteries are upside down when the player is in use the want to slip a little out of the sockets. Not all the way out but enough to effect its play at times. My Guess is that the springs are not as tight as they use to be. Rewind /Play /and record all work as they should.
