Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is an original VINTAGE (I believe made Feb 1958 The serial number is B83016) men's Schwinn AMERICAN beach cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. It is in the original and very appealing red and white 2-tone colored factory paint. If you like COOL original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike! *This bike has a cool mens cruiser style frame and forks with original paint and decals, large Schwinn head badge, original Schwinn chainguard, (would look nice with a fresh decal) Schwinn cruiser style seat, wide cruiser handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, full fenders, (have dents) SUPER COOL jeweled bow pedals, (partially missing rubbers) and more! I love this series of Schwinn bikes! (American, Typhoon, Speedster, B6, Hornet, Jaguar, Panther, Corvette, etc) They ride great and have a good look to them. Best part, this was made in Chicago USA! *The tires are 26x1 3/4". They are vintage Schwinn tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear. *The bike is an original THREE SPEED and the gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (may need adjustment or possible cable replacement) *DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 30 1/2". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok for its age! The paint looks ok for a 50+ year old bike! (I LOVE the fact that it has original paint but is has chips scratches age wear, obvious fading, etc, see pics. Its a great look that people love!) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) The kickstand was tack welded long ago. (see close up pic) Not a big deal but I like to be honest. A GREAT looking unrestored patina! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid. *This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach.
