I make sure it is 100% intact when packing. Small exterior parts (mirrors, antennas, etc.) are attached with very small amounts of glue and rough handling of the package during shipment may cause such parts to come loose. Be sure to unpack the car very carefully and do not discard any packing material until you are sure all such parts are still attached. Any loose parts can be easily re-attached using model cement such as Testors.
