Description: PRODUCT DESCRIPTION1956 Franklin Half-Dollar Graded by NGC at PF 69 Type 2. COMMENTSNot all Brilliant Uncirculated Proof Coins are equal even when they grade to the same near perfection level. For those that like a taste of frosty devices in their proof coins, this provides a great option and is NGC graded at the Superb Gem++ level. We think we could easily offer this one higher but we also appreciate our customers and enjoy putting some great offerings out there to be snatched up (for the keen observer!)!!! If you don't believe us, feel free to return this item if it doesn't match up to your expectations! This coin is composed of silver with a fineness of 0.9 and is a proof strike specimen. This coin series features Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell with a small Eagle on the reverse. This coin was minted in Philadelphia and is considered proof uncirculated with a superior near perfect grade assigned by NGC. Encapsulated in an NGC holder, this specimen carries a near perfect PF 69 grade and comes with some lustrous frosty devices contrasted sharply against the pristine mirrored fields. This specimen is almost perfect and has no haze, spots, milky zones, fog, or any other distracting aspect. For those collectors that desire top-tier coins, you won't go wrong with this item. This Franklin half dollar is an excellent addition to any collection due to its superior grade and PQ characteristics. What's great about a coin like this is you can get all the qualities of a coin that, in an earlier year in the series, would fetch well into five figures. These mid-century moderns are very nice and extremely collectible for the long haul. Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide. We shot a couple sets with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos! We did our best to carefully provide the most accurate photos as possible. As eBay sellers, we want to be sure there is no mystery with coin you are buying!!!
