Description: Offering a vintage kraft paper style advertising from 1956. This envelope or pouch was my mother's junior year report card holder. That school year was 1955 / 1956. The local business Fort Madison Home Appliance Store most likely donated or contributed to the cost of this Catholic School supply and as benefited both, used the opportunity to advertise itself. The school was Aquinas High School of Fort Madison, Iowa. I covered my mother's name for the pictures. The store was located at 830 Avenue G in downtown Fort Madison. Neither the school nor the store are still there but what a cool nostalgic bit of history. Normal wear and tear. Been stored for year. Some marks, smudges and dings but it works as it was intended.
