Description: FULLY IN GERMAN. Fully titled and subtitled, Aufsteig Aus Dem Nichts : Deutschland von 1945 bis 1953 Eine Soziographie in Zwei Banden, which translates to, Rise Out of Nowhere: Germany from 1945 to 1953 A Sociography in Two Bands (...two books). Authored by Kurt Zentner, published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch of Berlin in 1954. A BEAUTIFUL AND POWERFUL PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY OF POST WORLD WAR II. Both books are essentially all black and white photography with minimal text. The books are in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with the main wear issue being wear to the dust jackets. The jackets have heavy wear along the edges, with small tears and chunks missing along the edges. They are clean and now handsomely portrayed in mylar. Both with clean beige cloth boards with brown lettering, little to no wear. There were two original publisher fliers present - see listing photo. There are no interior marks, unpaginated, light age-toning around page edges. A REALLY SPECIAL PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY OF ACTIVITIES IN GERMANY POST WORLD WAR II, FROM EFFECTS OF THE WAR TO EVEN POPULAR ENTERTAINMENT. BB1
