1946 White Box Monopoly Game #9 with Rare Airplane Token, Wood Houses & Hotels

Description: Update from a monopoly expert: “Your game is a 1946 because the Chicago office which opened in 1938 is listed on the box front along with Salem and NY. The box, board and rules have the 2,026, 082 single patent. The chance and community chest cards have pictures of Rich Uncle Pennybags.The Dowst tokens which oxidise and turn black were discontinued in 1938. The Airplane was produced from 1946 until very early 1950s. The one hundreds are goldenrod in color instead of salmon colored. The dice are not bakelite.” I’ve counted each piece of play money (all 1936 dated) and indicated the number count in the pictures. Also included: -All property, utility and Railroad title cards -All chance & community chest cards -All 10 of the original metal game tokens. -The full instructions (dated 1936) and the short gameplay instructions -Original display cards and other Parker games advertising -Painted wooden houses and deluxe hotels -Original dice -Original game board with no seam tears -Original box and dividers- the box is rough and missing a section on the side and was “repaired” with masking tape at some point in the past. The bottom of the box is in better condition, but still has repairs with clear tape. -Anything elseI forgot to mention that is pictured is also included. Yes, using the hard plastic box does increase the weight and size slightly, but I figure this monopoly game has survived for 88 years – it’s not going to get ruined in shipping if I can help it.
