This can opener patent is dated 1945, and was manufactured in St. Louis, MO, United States. The opener is designed to clamp onto a table top or shelf. It has two WOODEN cranks. One crank adjusts to the can lip thickness, and the other crank turns the cutting apparatus of the opener as the can spins around. Very heavy item, hence the shipping cost. Awesome vintage find.
