This 1941 BMW R12 is powered by an air-cooled 745ccopposed twin paired with a four-speed transmission and is finished in blackwith white accents. Features include shaft drive, a hand shifter, a hydraulicfork, a sprung solo saddle, and two-into-two exhaust. The bike was reportedly restored overseas thensold to a private collector in the United States. I purchased the bike through Mike Dunn ofVintagegermanmotorcycles.com. Mike is known and highly regarded in the prewar German motorcycle community. Since purchasing the R12, I sent the magneto out to Krad-Koch in Germany to have it rebuilt (receipts are in the photos)and it around the Summer of 23. I have since moved on to other hobbies.
