Description: It is a 1940s Regal lap steel guitar. Built by Regal at its old Chicago, Illinois factory. I believe it's from before Harmony acquired Regal in the early 1950s. Cosmetically, it looks good, but worn. There are nicks and scuffs all over. The Regal decal on the headstock. The original Kluson tuners have been replaced with vintage Waverly tuners. Double-blade pickup. There's a filled hole on the side below the bridge. I suspect someone, once upon a time, was going to rewire it to output it through a regular side jack, but changed their mind. Functionally, it works great and sounds good. The cord is hard-wired the control plate. It has one volume and tone knob. We cleaned the pots. It comes with a metal slide bar. It comes with its original hard case. The latches, hinges, and latches all work. The case is worn, but fully functional.
