Description: This piece of McCoy pottery is from the 1940's from what I could find and is a pretty aqua blue color glaze with a criss cross raised design on the outside. The planter is about the size of a loaf pan and is meant to be used for an herb garden or similarly small size plant. It does not have drainage holes though so if you do use in this fashion add some stones in the bottom so you don't get rotten roots. If you just display it, I don't blame you. It is beautiful MCM pottery and that rectangular shape and design is great. It is signed on the bottom with NM which is for Nelson McCoy. Happy Shopping!
