Description: 1940's Goodrich 19" Pump Island Light Porcelain Vintage Red GAS STATION Sign This is a rare and unusual gas station pump island light. The patina on all the steel parts is beautiful so I left it alone. All threads turn easily. The porcelain is a wonderful deep red and original with excellent shine. The porcelain on both sides of the three shade mounts are chipped. I used rust transformer on each spot to stop any corrosion. For additional cost, if you'd rather have the steel parts painted, I could media-blast and paint the with either gray or black paint, the red porcelain will remain original. There is also pronounced wide black band on the rim.The wiring is 150 centigrade high-temperature fixture wire. I added a ground wire for safety along with a new gasket. All threads have been chased and lubricated. The old socket has been replaced with a new old stock Levington mogul base socket, (original size), with an adapter that makes it a medium base household socket. The sleeve fits over your 2" pipe and clamps with brass set-screws. The 2" pipe is not included. It is available at most Big-Box Stores such as Home-Depot.
