Description: Vintage horse racing press photo showing the great War Admiral in a workout at Pimlico before his famous match race against Seabiscuit. This is stamped October 25, 1938 on the back and the match race was November 1. This measures about 8"x10" and appears to have been trimmed a little. There has been quite a bit of old school Photoshop work done on this with a lot of shading added to War Admiral and the jockey to make it show up better in newsprint. It has the AP Wirephoto stamp added. Please review the photos and use the magnify feature to review the condition. We guarantee satisfaction with the racing items we sell, so if you are not happy with it then it can be returned for a full refund, assuming it is returned in the same condition of course. Shipping is $4.95. This will be shipped in rigid envelope with extra cardboard protection. We are happy to combine multiple photo purchases for a single $4.95 shipping charge. Please see our other auctions for an extensive collection of historic horse racing programs, trophies and memorabilia featuring horses like Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Dr. Fager, Damascus, Dan Patch, Buckpasser, Kelso and other champions and Kentucky Derby winners. We will be selling off most of our collection over the next couple months.
