Description: This is a sale for a 100% original Program for the Michigan State Spartans at the University of Michigan Wolverines for the 1936 game. This program is in FAIR condition. (td.br) This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons: * First and foremost, the cover art on this program is amazing!!! There's nothing like early 1920s/30s programs! * Only a mere 45,656 fans attended this game so even assuming normal survival rates, there are not many in private collections. * Program features All-American Matt Patanelli & future Consensus AA Ralph Heikkinen (UM). There are likely future AAs for both teams. All pages are accounted for, a must!!! The pages, including cover and center, are solidly intact to the staples! And there is no writing on the program. The less than ideals are: the most noticeable flaw is the period notation of the attending fans names and fact they were from Jackson, MI. Next flaw are the bottom right dog ear crease and the diagonal center line fold crease. Otherwise, (normal) surface/edge/spine - include slight tear at the bottom/page turn wear and the minimal handling soiling and corners are rounded. Inside pages are solid. Back cover shows similar wear as the cover and given the white paper stock it shows just how great this program is. Please see pix. Payment due no later than 3-days after auction closes.
