Vintage MARX O Gauge Army Supply Train Engine 500 Steam Locomotive Box Signal

Description: Wonderful Marx Army Supply Train with an original cardboard box, which may not be the box for the Army Supply Train. Since I bought this train a long time ago and it came in this box, I thought it was the original box for this train. It says it is a Steam Locomotive This train has been played with, but obviously with care. Even though there is paint loss throughout all the pieces, the paint jobs on the decals seems to have remained in tact for the most part. The Marx logo is found inside the back part on the floor of the locomotive. Everyone always says to look at the pictures for condition and if you need more pictures I can take them. The transformer has a broken wire. There are 8 pieces of straight track and I think 9 pieces of curved track. There is a wonderful stop sign and the wire looks like it needs to be repaired. I have not done any cleaning at all and am surprised at how great the locomotive looks. This train has not been tested. And there seems to be a small silver colored transformer and it is located in the far bottom left hand corner of the box. Don't know how this was used. I have not repaired the box and three of the corners have been torn. There has been a plastic army gun added to one of the flat cars and a few soldiers and barb wire. Please email with any questions. Although am not knowledgeable about these parts. While growing up I always wanted a train and never had one until I got this one. I think it is fun to look at and wished I knew how to make it run!
