Description: Antique, RARE, 1920's amber glass sock darner, 6" long; a Prohibition Darner made for use by ladies who liked to enjoy their darning work by taking a nip or two. Original tin screw-on cap with original cork insert, a couple of minor edge dents - functions nicely. Many bubbles in the old glass. Well used with excellent needle wear. From my personal lifetime collection - the only one I've ever seen. Stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Please look at all pictures and email with questions or requests for additional pictures.
