Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1908-S Peso, Philippines under U. S. administration. Uncirculated, with very attractive Obverse toning (using the traditional definition of Obverse = date side), but with some minor issues. This appears to have been stored for a long time in an old heavy paper envelope, resulting in the toning as well as some minor corrosion spots at places on the rim from absorbing moisture. These are visible in my images plus I have added some enlargements. There are some scratches at a couple of spots, most notably at the "P" of "FILIPINAS". The horizontal lines running at an angle across the coin on one side are planchet roller marks in my opinion - not damage but perhaps a distraction. PLEASE review my images with care prior to considering a purchase. This coin WILL NOT certify in anything but a Details holder, in my opinion. I am not an approval service and while I will accept returns, it costs me a considerable sum since ebay forces me to pay for the privilege. Offered at the value of a minimum Uncirculated coin.
