Its line reached from Franklin, Ohio (north of Cincinnati) to Jackson, Michigan, a distance of some 186 miles. It was acquired by the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad in 1901 and later became a part of the New York Central system.
