Description: 18th Century Caughley Cobalt & Gold Floral New Fluted Porcelain Waste Slop Bowl Antique English 18th century porcelain waste / slop bowl in the New Fluted shape. Decorated with cobalt blue and gold floral designs on the outside of the bowl and a cobalt and gold flower in the center of the bowl. With cobalt and gold bands and dots around the inside of the rim. Unmarked. Made by Caughley. Circa 1785-1795. Has wear to the gilding, wear consistent with age and use, and a tight crack extending off the edge. Measures approximately 6 1/8 inches wide x 3 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. DV
