Description: I have for sale the Gettysburg Veteran New York Day medal from the July 1,2,3, 1893 Dedication of State monuments at Gettysburg. The New York monument was dedicated on July 2, 1893. The medal has two pieces that look to be bronze. The top pin back bar reads GETTYSBURG VETERAN and JULY 1-2-3, 1863. The bar is 1 7/8 inches wide. The bottom medal is 1 3/4 inches in diameter and looks to be in uncirculated condition or very close to it. On the obverse it reads at the rim DEDICATION OF STATE MONUMENTS AT GETTYSBURG JULY 1-2-3, 1893 - NEW YORK DAY. In the center it shows the center part of the Great Seal of the state of New York.
